Job Summary

Comfort Keepers is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Aide to provide in-home support services to our clients. As a Personal Care Aide, you will be responsible for providing companionship, assistance with daily living activities, and maintaining a safe and healthy environment for our clients.

Responsibilities
  • Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, and oral hygiene
  • Provide light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry and changing bed linens
  • Assist with meal preparation, grocery shopping, and kitchen clean-up
  • Remind clients to take self-administered medications
  • Establish and maintain effective communication with clients, family members, and co-workers
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding client information
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Must demonstrate satisfactory completion of any stated mandated training
  • Must satisfactorily complete Comfort Keepers training and orientation program
  • Must be genuinely concerned about helping people and have high standards of honesty and integrity
Work Environment

The work environment is primarily in the client's home setting and may require occasional use of a vehicle.
