Medical Equipment Service Specialist

An Imaging Service Engineer I performs scheduled service work on systems within a designated service area, with some unscheduled work requiring assistance from technical support.
Duties include performing preventative maintenance, unscheduled maintenance work, installations, and de-installations of products and peripheral equipment.
The successful candidate will maintain excellent working relations with field personnel, home office personnel, and management.
This position requires strong administrative skills, including electronic expense reports, weekly timecards, and other reporting functions.
A valid driver's license and safe driving record are essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance as directed.
- Assist in unscheduled maintenance work with technical support.
- Install and de-install products and equipment as required.
- Maintain effective communication with management and colleagues.
- Complete administrative duties, including expense reports and timecards.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree in electrical engineering, electronics, or computer science.
- Minimum one year of previous field service experience.
- Knowledge of assigned equipment and ability to provide timely repair and maintenance.
- Excellent customer service and analytical skills.
- Ability to communicate technical issues clearly.
Estimated Salary:$55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
