Job Title: Driver's Education Instructor

At DYNAMIC EDUCATIONAL SYSTEMS INC, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Driver's Education Instructor to join our team. As a Driver's Education Instructor, you will be responsible for providing students with the skills and knowledge necessary to pass the written and driving portions of the state operator's license examination.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide classroom and behind-the-wheel instruction that meets state-mandated requirements.
  • Assist students with prior offenses in re-establishing their eligibility and securing a license prior to completion.
  • Ensure that all student test results and progress are documented and recorded using the automated Center Information System (CIS).
  • Maintain up-to-date skills in the field of specialty through available sources such as publications, formal study programs, and in-service training.
  • Model, mentor, and monitor the positive normative culture of the center.
  • Act as a responsible custodian for assigned center property.
  • Report violations of ethical behavior.
  • Suggest opportunities for continuous operational improvement and reduction of waste.
  • Identify and report environmental health and safety concerns.
Requirements:
  • Driving Instructor's License is Required.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: Two years of driver's education/instructor is required. BMV/DMV experience is preferred.
  • Skills/Abilities:
    • Ability to complete all mandated training requirements per government and management directives.
    • Ability to deal with a variety of staff and students in a professional manner in diverse situations.
    • Timely completion and accuracy of all departmental work.
    • Ability to promote the Career Success Standards (CSS) by modeling appropriate behaviors, mentoring students when necessary, and monitoring both positive and negative behaviors through interventions.
    • Strong organizational skills.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Computer proficiency.
