Dynamic Educational Systems Inc is dedicated to equipping motivated young individuals, aged 16-24, with the education and training necessary for successful careers in the most rapidly expanding sectors. Our mission is to empower eligible youth with the skills required to achieve independence and gainful employment, or to pursue further education. Participants have access to essential resources while they acquire skills in designated training fields for a duration of up to three years. Our program aids in completing high school education, prepares them for rewarding careers, offers transitional support services, and assists in job placement. Graduates typically enter the workforce, engage in apprenticeships, pursue higher education, or enlist in the military.
Objective: Under the supervision of the Career Pathways Director, the instructor is responsible for imparting the necessary skills and knowledge to students to successfully pass both the written and practical components of the state operator's license examination.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver classroom and behind-the-wheel training that complies with state regulations.
- Support students with prior offenses in regaining their eligibility and securing a license before program completion.
- Document and record all student test outcomes and progress using the automated Center Information System (CIS).
- Stay current with developments in the field through various resources, including publications and training programs.
- Exemplify, mentor, and oversee the positive cultural norms of the center.
- Safeguard assigned center property responsibly.
- Report any ethical violations.
- Propose opportunities for ongoing operational enhancements and waste reduction.
- Identify and communicate environmental health and safety issues.
- Ensure that drivers and staff are informed and updated on all relevant transportation and driving information.
Qualifications:
Driving Instructor's License is Mandatory.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience: Minimum of two years in driver's education/instruction is required. Experience with BMV/DMV is preferred.
Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to fulfill all mandated training requirements as per government and management directives.
- Professional interaction with a diverse range of staff and students.
- Timely and accurate completion of all departmental tasks.
- Ability to promote Career Success Standards (CSS) by modeling appropriate behaviors and mentoring students as needed.
- Strong organizational capabilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in computer applications.
Minimum Eligibility Criteria:
• A valid driver's license in the state of employment with a satisfactory driving record is required.
• I-9 documentation is necessary to verify authorization to work in the United States.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background investigation.
Additional Requirements: Must possess a valid driver's license and adequate vehicle insurance coverage.
