Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare students for Pre-Trip, Yard Skills, and Road Driving portions of their exam
  • Monitor student progress and identify any gaps in knowledge
  • Provide additional assistance as needed to ensure students are well-prepared for their future careers
  • Emphasize safety concepts, principles, and procedures to ensure students are equipped for success
Requirements:
  • Valid OHIO CDL Class A license with a minimum of 36 months of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience
  • Clean driving record
  • Ability to pass DOT physical exam
  • Ability to pass drug and alcohol tests
  • Possess at least a high school diploma or GED
  • Basic computer capabilities and know-how to navigate a web browser
  • Available and willing to teach 40 hours per week
  • Patient, strong communication skills, and empathy with students
