Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Pediatric Care Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our pediatric care team, you will play a vital role in providing direct patient care, supporting our interdisciplinary team, and contributing to a positive and inclusive work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including activities of daily living, vital signs, and point-of-care testing
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Participate in family-centered rounds and contribute to the development of individualized care plans
  • Support the education and empowerment of patients and families through health literacy initiatives
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to identify and address patient safety concerns
  • Contribute to performance improvement initiatives and quality improvement projects
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
  • Successful completion of an unlicensed healthcare provider/technician program or equivalent experience
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role; pediatric experience preferred
