About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Intelligence Associate to join our team at Advisors Excel. As a key member of our Data Intelligence team, you will play a critical role in maintaining the integrity of our divisional data.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with multiple divisions to identify and address data challenges
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure data quality and governance
  • Participate in data governance meetings to identify and resolve key data concerns
  • Regularly monitor and maintain data integrity across various applications
  • Uphold data governance standards for consistency and compliance
  • Perform data entry of large datasets and collect data for Analysts to analyze and evaluate
  • Validate data according to departmental needs and create standard operating procedure guides for standardized data processes
Requirements
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Demonstrated ability in managing project-based work with a focus on delivering results
  • Ability to efficiently clean and validate large datasets (100,000+ rows)
  • 1-2 years of experience with Excel and Power BI (Intermediate level) and familiarity with other data tools
  • Foundational knowledge of data management, cleansing, and governance
  • Aptitude for technology with ability to quickly learn and adapt to various data applications
Preferred Qualifications
  • Financial service experience with an understanding of related products
  • Experience with data visualization tools
  • Familiarity with SQL, Alteryx, Tableau, RStudio, Python, and Power Automate
  • Experience with Salesforce Financial Services Cloud
  • Bachelor's degree (or working towards one) in Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field
  • Basic knowledge of machine learning concepts
