Job Title: Financial Controller

Job Summary: Jobot, a leading retail company, is seeking a seasoned Financial Controller to join our dynamic team. This individual will oversee the month-end financial close process, prepare and analyze financial statements, and manage the annual audit process. About the Role: As a Financial Controller at Jobot, you will:
  • Lead the month-end financial close process, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial statements
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
  • Manage the annual audit process, including coordination with external auditors and preparation of audit schedules
  • Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements
  • Provide strategic financial analysis and guidance to senior management on business performance and financial trends
  • Manage and mentor a team of accounting professionals, providing guidance and support as needed
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and enhance financial reporting capabilities
  • Assist with special projects and ad-hoc analysis as needed

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and other regulatory requirements
  • Experience with month-end close processes and financial statement preparation
  • Experience managing audits and working with external auditors
  • Experience with ERP systems and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Salary: $90,000 - $125,000 per year, commensurate with experience. This salary estimate is based on industry standards and takes into account the company's location and market conditions.
