Position Overview:

As a Cloud DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in shaping the cloud landscape for our clients. Your expertise in cloud computing will enable you to design and implement cloud-based architectures that align with client requirements while leveraging the full potential of cloud technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize your extensive experience (5+ years) in developing tools and processes that enhance DevOps or DevSecOps practices through automation of builds, regression testing, monitoring, and deployment across various environments.
  • Apply modern software development methodologies and integrate essential cloud developer services to optimize client solutions.
  • Automate workflows using scripting languages to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
  • Design and develop cloud-native applications, focusing on containerized workflows and Kubernetes orchestration.
  • Provision traditional VM host-based resources within a cloud environment, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
  • Collaborate with a diverse team to devise solutions for complex challenges faced by clients in the cloud domain.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of cloud design principles, emphasizing security, scalability, and performance metrics.
  • Possess the ability to obtain a security clearance as required.
  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in troubleshooting and resolving CI/CD pipeline issues.
  • Proficient in managing Kubernetes clusters through self-hosted or managed services.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML models and their deployment strategies.
  • Experience with cloud services related to AI/ML and vector store infrastructure.
  • Knowledge of cloud tenant monitoring, billing structures, and cost optimization techniques.
  • Experience in deploying public-facing applications with secure authentication mechanisms.
  • Proficient in Infrastructure-as-Code technologies such as CloudFormation, Terraform, or CNCF technologies.
  • Understanding of cloud networking best practices and IAM policy strategies.
  • Possession of security or cyber certifications is advantageous.
  • AWS, Azure, or GCP certifications are preferred.

Security Clearance:

Selected candidates will undergo a security investigation and must meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information.

Compensation:

Compensation is determined by various factors including location, education, skills, and experience. The projected salary range for this position is $60,400.00 to $137,000.00 annually.
