Senior Living Charge Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Charge Nurse to join our team at Belmont Village Senior Living. As a Charge Nurse, you will play a vital role in overseeing the clinical and care aspects of our community, ensuring the highest level of quality care for our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate day-to-day operations of the Wellness Center
- Follow up on physician orders, coordinate services with ancillary providers, and report to physicians and families any changes of condition or other pertinent clinical care information
- Provide medication administration to an assigned group of residents according to physician orders and report any adverse reactions or clinical observations, documenting as necessary
- Ensure resident care and service plans are followed by overseeing tasks of Medication Technicians and care providers
- Make appropriate situational decisions and manage conflict in a positive and constructive manner
- Update and review resident medical records, clinical documentation, and incident reports
Requirements:
- Active LVN or LPN license in the State in which this community is located
- CPR Certified or ability and willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire
- Proficient in verbal and written English with strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work the defined schedule for this position, which may include weekends and holidays
- Intermediate computer and mobile device skills

- Flexible and adaptable with the ability to critically think and problem-solve in stressful or urgent situations
- Dependable and self-directed with strong organizational and time management skills
- Strong leadership and supervisory abilities, adept at guiding and directing teams
- Works with a sense of urgency while paying close attention to detail
- More than one year of medication management experience
- Prior direct supervisory experience
