Dishwasher Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Dishwasher to join our team at Oakmont Senior Living. As a Dishwasher, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our kitchen and dining areas.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare the dish room/area prior to meal service, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available.
  • Transport all dishes to the kitchen following meal preparation and mealtimes, clearing, washing, and sanitizing them to the highest standards.
  • Assist with breaking down the kitchen for clean-up, performing general clean-up and sanitation clean-up of the dish room, kitchen, dining areas, steam tables, range hoods, sinks, and drains.
  • Respond to resident concerns and complaints in a professional and caring manner, providing excellent customer service.
  • Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests, adhering to established safety standards.
  • Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments.
Requirements:
  • Prefer six (6) months of experience working in a kitchen or similar setting.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families.
  • Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests.
