Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Charge Nurse to join our Emergency Services team. As a Charge Nurse, you will be responsible for coordinating patient care, leading a team of nurses, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient care and develop individualized plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
- Lead and manage a team of nurses, providing guidance, support, and feedback to ensure excellent patient care
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care
- Monitor and maintain high standards of patient safety and quality care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures
Requirements
- Current California Registered Nursing license
- Three (3) years recent experience as a RN in an Emergency Services department
- Certifications required: BLS, ACLS and PALS
- Geriatric patient experience preferred
- Bachelors Degree in Nursing (or equivalent) preferred
