ENTRUST Solutions Group is seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Lead to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will serve as a technical advisor to the Director and lead engineering disciplines in the Pacific District.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead engineering design teams on technical issues for medium and large complex projects.
- Provide input to Project Managers and technical management on potential process and design.
- Maintain a high level of technical expertise in one or more engineering disciplines.
- Initiate and maintain extensive contacts with key engineers and officials in other organizations.
- Lead training and development of other engineers to provide technical guidance and training.
- Maintain a system of quality control consistent with ENTRUST's policies and procedures.
- Registration as a Professional Engineer (CA registration a plus)
- Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET accredited university
- 12+ years of relevant work experience
- Working knowledge of P&ID
- In-depth knowledge of HAC and ability to develop a HAC designation
- Must understand grounding and how to layout grounding at a site
- Working ability to develop one line and three line diagrams and electrical schematics
- Ability to layout raceways, wireways, conduit, duct banks and cable trays
- Working knowledge of Transformers, MCC and Switchgears
- Industrial design experience and knowledge of electrical equipment
- Ability to perform Load flow, short circuit and understand motor starting concept
- Thorough knowledge of protective relays
- Experience developing technical specifications for equipment
- Working knowledge of NEC
