Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Principal Design Engineer to join our team at Northrop Grumman. As a key member of our Electrical Design and Analysis (EDA) section, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing space hardware products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop digital architecture for space hardware products
  • Lead multi-discipline engineering teams to ensure successful project delivery
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate system performance and operational specifications into hardware requirements
  • Develop and implement worst-case circuit analysis (WCCA) techniques to ensure signal and power integrity
  • Utilize design and analysis tools such as Mentor graphics Xpedition and Hyperlynx
  • Ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or comparable STEM degree
  • Minimum 9 years of relevant engineering experience
  • Proficient in digital circuit design, schematic capture, and PWB/board layout tools
  • Experience with testing and using lab test equipment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to design challenges
  • Top Secret/SCI security clearance
Preferred Qualifications
  • Signal integrity analysis experience
  • Proficient in design and analysis tools: Keysight ADS
