Job Summary:

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Senior Principal Design Engineer to join our team in Linthicum, MD. As a key member of our Electrical Design and Analysis (EDA) section, you will be responsible for the design, development, and test of space hardware products.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop digital circuitry for space hardware products

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design meets program requirements

Conduct Worst Case Circuit Analysis (WCCA) and signal integrity analysis

Utilize design and analysis tools such as Mentor graphics Xpedition and Keysight ADS

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or comparable STEM degree

Minimum 9 years of relevant engineering experience (7+ years with MS degree; 4+ years with PhD)

Proficient in digital circuit design, schematic capture, and PWB/board layout tools

Experience with testing and using lab test equipment

Preferred Qualifications:

Top Secret / SCI security clearance

Signal integrity analysis (SERDES, Bit error rates, jitter components and contributors, board to board analysis)
