Position Overview:

The Director of Store Opening is instrumental in managing the comprehensive process of launching and integrating new facilities. This pivotal leadership role demands strategic foresight, effective team management, and collaborative efforts across various functions to guarantee that property openings are executed on time and within budget.

Core Responsibilities:
  • Program Management: Oversee all initiatives related to the integration and launch of new property locations.
  • Strategic Alignment: Ensure alignment with the organization's growth strategies and objectives.
  • Cross-Departmental Leadership: Work in partnership with various teams to facilitate successful property openings.
  • Vendor Oversight: Identify and manage external vendors to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Process Optimization: Continuously enhance property opening procedures for greater efficiency.
  • Project Planning: Formulate detailed project plans and adhere to all timelines.
  • Risk Assessment: Recognize and address potential risks to ensure successful property launches.
  • Financial Oversight: Administer budgets for property openings while adhering to financial guidelines.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain transparent communication with all stakeholders throughout the opening process.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all openings meet company standards and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
  • Experience: Minimum of 7 years in project management or retail operations.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate, or a related discipline; MBA preferred.

Compensation:

Base Salary Range: $180,000

Compensation may vary based on qualifications, skills, and experience. Additional bonuses or incentives may be applicable.

Public Storage promotes a collaborative work environment and offers some flexibility with remote work options. Team members are expected to work in the office five days a week with the possibility of remote days.
