Job Summary:

The Executive Director of Project Management and Operations will lead a team of resources to manage and coordinate key projects and operational activities that are cross-functional in nature or not logically owned within a single organization in the company.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Management: Define the project standards and operational support across the organization, establish strong relationships with Executive Leadership, and ensure strategic alignment with the PMO team.
  • Operational Management: Set the standards for and monitor compliance with Experity Success System (ESS) processes across the organization, lead cross-functional team of ESS Coaches, and organize, facilitate, and supervise the organization's integration strategies and activities.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, develop, and manage Sr. Project Managers, Project Managers, Program Managers, and Project Coordinators, define the ongoing Project Management strategy for the best alignment with the company's strategic initiatives, and manage, track, support, and report on a variety of projects, processes, and project resources.
  • Education and Training: Develop and maintain up-to-date project management education and training for the organization, and deliver accurate and timely operational and/or project status updates to represent the project portfolio.
  • Risk Management: Identify risk and actively pursue effective risk management strategies, and serve as the point of escalation for internal and external project resources.
  • Business Development: Foster effective and positive business relationships with all parties throughout project and integration phases, cultivate and manage vendor relationships as assigned, and manage client expectations.
  • Process Improvement: Document processes and workflows, and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience: Minimum of five years of related experience involving project management, EMR Implementation, clinic management, or related fields, and minimum of five years of leadership progression managing direct reports.
  • Skills: Proficient in Windows-based applications and MS Office suite of products.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certification: Certification in business process management or Lean/Lean Six Sigma.
  • Industry Experience: Experience working in Healthcare, Software Development, or Information Technology.
  • Software Experience: Experience using Smartsheet software.
Travel:

10% or less.
