Job Title: Certified Peer Recovery Support Specialist

Lighthouse Behavioral Health Solutions is seeking a Certified Peer Recovery Support Specialist to join our team. As a Certified Peer Recovery Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals in their recovery journey from substance use disorder.

Job Summary:

The Certified Peer Recovery Support Specialist will provide community-based services to individuals in recovery, promoting a natural support system and encouraging community-based wellness and recovery action plans. The ideal candidate will have lived experience in addiction recovery, be certified as a Certified Peer Recovery Supporter, and possess strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide community-based services to individuals in recovery, promoting a natural support system and encouraging community-based wellness and recovery action plans.
  • Encourage clients to identify their personal interests, goals, strengths, and weaknesses regarding recovery.
  • Support connections to community-based, mutual self-help groups.
  • Participate and contribute to weekly staffing discussions with clinical and case management.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Certification as a Certified Peer Recovery Supporter.
  • Minimum high school diploma/GED.
  • Lived experience in addiction recovery.
  • OMHAS or other designated accrediting body in the State of Ohio Peer Recovery Support certification and be in good standing.
  • Valid State of Ohio Driver's License and valid insurance.
  • Must pass BCI check, all Corporate Compliance checks, and employment drug screen.
  • Must be 25 years or older.

  • Adheres to Lighthouse's protocol in delivering PRS and other policies and procedures.
Work Schedule:

12pm - 8:30pm (days vary)
