The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) plays a crucial role in providing care to patients of all ages.
This position encompasses responsibilities across general and pediatric nursing units, with the potential to take on assignments in the Emergency Department, PACU, and adult critical care settings.
Additionally, some specialists may be required to deliver services in other clinical areas as needed.ENTRY REQUIREMENTS: Candidates must hold a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
Certified Respiratory Therapists (CRT) who are registry-eligible may enter the RRT classification, provided they obtain the RRT credential within a specified timeframe.
Current licensure as a Respiratory Therapist in the State of Michigan or eligibility to apply is essential.Clinical experience in both pediatric and adult respiratory care is required.
