Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Garden City Hospital. As a Cardiopulmonary Specialist, you will be responsible for performing respiratory therapeutic and pulmonary diagnostic procedures as ordered by physicians.

Under the direction of the medical director and cardiopulmonary director, you will assess, plan, implement, and document care for patients, considering age and population-specific needs. In the absence of a supervisor, you may be assigned as Lead RCP, overseeing the section or department during your shift.

Responsibilities
  • Perform respiratory therapeutic and pulmonary diagnostic procedures as ordered by physicians
  • Assess, plan, implement, and document care for patients, considering age and population-specific needs
  • May be assigned as Lead RCP, overseeing the section or department during your shift
Qualifications
  • State Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) License required
  • Current BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) required
