The Nursing Supervisor is a key professional in assessing and managing nursing operations at The Behavioral Wellness Center at Girard. This role requires a high level of commitment to delivering exceptional patient care and staff management.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Decision-Making: Provide administrative-level nursing leadership for inpatient units and make informed decisions relative to patient care and staff maintenance.
- Staff Management: Supervise and coordinate the activities of nursing staff to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
- Communication and Collaboration: Foster open communication and collaboration among nursing staff, other healthcare professionals, and management to ensure seamless patient care.
- Quality Improvement: Identify areas for quality improvement and implement strategies to enhance patient care and staff satisfaction.
- Compliance and Regulatory: Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and standards related to patient care and staff management.
- Education and Certification: Current Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Registered Nurse licensure and BLS/CPR certification.
- Experience: A minimum of five (5) years of broad-based nursing experience, with previous supervisory/management experience.
- Skills and Knowledge: Computer literacy and familiarity with electronic health records, as well as a baccalaureate degree from an NLN-accredited school of nursing (preferred).
