Currently seeking a part-time Youth Engagement Coordinator

Aspire Indiana Health, Inc. is a nonprofit organization dedicated to delivering comprehensive health services, including primary care, mental health support, recovery programs, and initiatives addressing essential social factors such as housing and employment.

Role Summary

The Youth Engagement Coordinator plays a crucial role in delivering educational presentations to students ranging from elementary to high school. This position requires the ability to engage in meaningful conversations with youth, the courage to report concerns to appropriate authorities when necessary, and collaboration with educational staff and social workers to arrange presentations. Responsibilities also include managing presentation materials and technology resources. This is a part-time, seasonal position funded through grants.

Qualifications and Experience

  • High School diploma or equivalent is required; an Associate's degree in social work, psychology, criminal justice, education, or a related field is highly preferred.
  • A minimum of one (1) year of experience in education, child welfare, criminal justice, law enforcement, or social work is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with social service systems, including educational institutions and child welfare, is preferred.
