About the Role

Rosecrance Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Recovery Home Specialist to join our Supervised Housing team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in helping adult clients with mental illness achieve independence through teaching daily life skills, budgeting, meal planning, and meal preparation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and manage the behavior of residents and provide appropriate behavioral interventions and consequences.
  • Implement therapeutic activities and facilitate development of independent living skills.
  • Responsible for developing and presenting all resident education.
  • Consult with other staff members and plan daily therapeutic direction for designated shift.
  • May facilitate focal group discussion sessions.
  • Attend all scheduled meetings of staff, such as treatment plan reviews, shift meetings or appropriate committee meetings as designated.
  • Ensure that client service records are maintained consistent with regulations.
  • Monitor self-administration of medicine by residents and record information on medical log.
  • Oversee the cleanliness of the house, resident house jobs, and the proper use of equipment and supplies.
  • Serve as a member of the assigned team and participate in all team meetings and activities.
  • Exercise confidentiality in keeping with the Code of Conduct and with the framework of the law.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service consistently to every customer.
  • Serve as a role model for other staff, clients and customers and demonstrate positive guest relations in representing Rosecrance.
  • Assume other related responsibilities as delegated and assigned.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid driver's license
