About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Sterile Processing Department Manager to lead our team in efficiently managing sterile processing operations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sterile processing, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to analyze complex processes to identify areas for improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process Improvement: Analyze current sterile processing procedures and develop strategies to optimize efficiency, quality, and productivity.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of sterile processing technicians, providing guidance on best practices and procedures.
  • Inventory Management: Develop and implement effective inventory management systems to ensure accurate tracking and control of medical supplies and equipment.
  • Quality Control: Oversee the implementation of quality control measures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field (Associate's degree required)
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in sterile processing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
  • Certification as a Sterile Processing Technician
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
