Job Summary
This production position involves working in a fast-paced environment, processing poultry products with attention to detail and a focus on safety. Responsibilities may include live hang, debone, cut up, evisceration, marination, stack off, Multivac, overwrap, and sanitation. A typical workweek is five to six days, with overtime possible based on production needs.
Key Responsibilities
Work at various stations along the production line, processing poultry food products with precision and care.
Adhere to all safety protocols, including PPE, to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to company standards.
Participate in company safety programs and contribute to a culture of safety and excellence.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
At least six months of consecutive work history with one employer within the past three years.
Experience in poultry processing or manufacturing environments a plus.
Work Environment
Work in a plant environment with exposure to wet and moist floors, temperatures between 28°F and 100°F, and humidity levels up to 100%.
May be exposed to noise levels between 50 dB and 110 dB, dust, feathers, and chemicals used in the facility.
Must wear and use protective equipment as directed by the company.
Able to stand for extended periods and perform tasks that require lifting, reaching, and bending.
