About the Role

This is a part-time position that offers a flexible schedule created by you, paid per hour, and driving, travel, and mileage reimbursement. You will have the opportunity to work with a team that values professional autonomy, teamwork, communication, and collaboration to maximize patient recovery.



Responsibilities

As a Licensed Clinician Social Worker, you will:

  • Perform comprehensive evaluations to assess patients' social, emotional, and support needs.
  • Set measurable objectives in conjunction with the rehab team.
  • Assist physicians and other health team members in understanding social and emotional factors related to patients' health problems.
  • Instruct and counsel patients and families in treating and coping with social and emotional responses connected with illnesses.
  • Participate in care coordination activities and act as a resource to other health team members in identifying and resolving patient needs.
  • Identify and assist patients and families in utilizing community resources to achieve measurable objectives.


Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's Degree in Clinical Social Work (LCSW).
  • Current Licensed Clinical Social Worker licensure in the state of practice.
  • Minimum of one year experience in a rehabilitation setting serving individuals with traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, or acute diagnoses.
  • CPR certification.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physical requirements such as moving, lifting, or transferring patients.
