Overview:
This role is generally responsible for providing clinical support in an outpatient vascular medical office. The Vascular Care Specialist will collaborate with clinical leadership to provide the best care to vascular patients.

Responsibilities:
Assist as needed with patient care, including providing compassionate patient support and care, attention, and assistance during office visits.
Set up rooms for patient procedures and ensure a sterile environment, following accreditation guidelines and documenting as needed.
Record patients' vital signs and maintain provider notes, ensuring patient medical records are comprehensive and complete.
Assist providers during office visits and procedures, and assist with daily operations of the clinic and office-based lab, including scheduling patient appointments and maintaining communication to confirm future appointments.
Maintain patient medical information, including medical history and health insurance, and manage office supplies and equipment.

Requirements:
Completion of a Medical Assistant Program and certification as a Medical Assistant.
BLS certification and proficiency in administrative tasks.
1+ year experience in a medical setting, ideally surgical.
Willingness to be available for local and/or regional assignments as needed.
Basic understanding of clinical tasks and excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
