Job Summary:

The Vascular Care Group is seeking a highly skilled Procedural Nurse to join our team. As a Procedural Nurse, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care in a vascular Office-Based Lab setting.

Responsibilities:

* Provide nursing services in a vascular Office-Based Lab setting
* Collaborate with clinical leadership in the performance of management, clinical, and patient care aspects of duties
* Act within scope of practice and under the authority of the attending surgeon
* Perform all responsibilities and duties within the limits established by the physician staff and consistent with the statutes of the Maine Board of Nursing
* Uphold the standards of AAAASF
* Assist with daily operations of the out-patient endovascular center, including reviewing scheduled cases ahead of time, maintaining infection control, stocking medications, supplies, and equipment, ensuring the center is adequately staffed, and maintaining safety standards
* Responsible for patient care, including overseeing patient experience from pre-procedure to discharge, ensuring patients are called in a timely manner before procedure, providing post-procedures call backs to all patients within 24 hours, and maintaining patient medical records

Requirements:

* Graduate of accredited school of professional nursing, minimum of BSN
* Registered as a nurse in the state of Maine
* BLS and ACLS certification
* ICU or ED experience a must
* PACU experience helpful
* Ability to stand for prolonged periods
* Ability to follow oral and written instructions precisely
* Willing to be available for local and/or regional assignments as needed
* Ability to communicate with patients, visitors, and employees within the organization
* Ability to adequately use the department's computerized system and its associated devices
