Key Responsibilities:
- Engage in continuous training and educational initiatives to improve skills and knowledge.
- Prepare examination rooms and ultrasound equipment for sonography procedures, adhering to infection control, sterilization, and patient safety standards.
- Conduct patient assessments under the guidance of our vascular ultrasound technicians and assist in performing diagnostic medical sonography examinations as directed by the supervising physician.
- Apply independent, professional, and ethical judgment while executing diagnostic sonography procedures.
- Utilize independent judgment during examinations to ensure accurate capture of anatomical, pathological, and clinical conditions in imaging.
- Identify and document any limitations encountered during sonography examinations.
- Assist in reviewing examination images, synthesizing results, and preparing preliminary reports for healthcare providers.
- Perform quality control checks to ensure optimal operation of ultrasound equipment and manage a preventive maintenance schedule.
- Support the daily operations of the sonography facility.
- Currently enrolled in an ultrasound program or formal training course.
- Aim to complete the RVT exam.
- Demonstrated interest in Vascular and Vascular Sonography.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.
- Capability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Completion of relevant coursework in anatomy, physiology, or medical imaging is beneficial.
