Job Summary

Concentra is seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for performing routine x-ray examinations and supporting medical procedures in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for radiologic procedures, including escorting them to dressing and x-ray rooms and providing verbal and written instructions.
  • Operate radiologic equipment to produce images of the body for diagnostic purposes, ensuring patient care and safety.
  • Use radiation safety measures and protection devices to ensure the safety of patients and team members.
  • Ensure radiologic equipment remains in working order and report equipment malfunctions to the Center Operations Director.
  • Follow documentation procedures and complete required documentation related to patient x-ray visits.
  • Perform medical assistant duties, including preparing patients for physical examinations, taking vital signs, and performing rapid screening tests.
  • Assist providers during examinations and treatment, and apply bandages, dressings, and splints as ordered by the treating clinician.
  • Dispense medications and DME as ordered by the treating clinician in accordance with state regulations.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology and applicable certification by the state in which employed.
  • Registered with The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and has active and valid certification.
  • CPR/First Aid Certification.
  • At least six months or more of medical assistant experience with knowledge of medical procedures and medical terminology.
Working Conditions

This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. The Radiologic Technologist must be able to lift and move patients as needed, and to work in a variety of settings, including x-ray rooms and medical offices.
