We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Sutter Health. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for performing routine and specialized radiology procedures to produce high-quality images for physicians and other healthcare providers.
Key Responsibilities- Competently perform radiology procedures to produce quality images
- Work independently, exercising sound judgment and clinical skills to execute safe and precise procedures
- Gain confidence and cooperation from patients, families, and healthcare providers through competent patient assessment and effective communication
- Adhere to local, state, and federal regulations, codes, and policies to ensure patient privacy and safety
- Perform specific procedures and/or help orient other staff to the department
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program
- CRT-Certified Radiologic Technologist upon hire
- BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider upon hire
- RHF-Radiology Fluoroscopy within 180 days of hire
- 2 years recent relevant experience
- General knowledge of diagnostic radiology principles, procedures, views, and equipment
- Ability to perform routine radiographic examinations and basic understanding of human anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Well-developed time management and organizational skills
- General knowledge of computer applications, such as Microsoft Office Suite and related information systems
This is a full-time position with a varied schedule, including rotating weekends. The salary range for this role is $60.81 to $76.00 per hour, and the position is non-exempt.
