Key Responsibilities:
  • Work approximately 15-20 hours weekly.
  • Conduct 3-5 hour shifts post regular business hours, Monday through Friday.
  • Oversee cleaning operations across various facilities and manage janitorial personnel in multiple locations.
  • Provide training for janitorial staff, including conducting interviews and on-site training for new hires.
  • Perform cleaning inspections and execute tasks as outlined in the service agreement when necessary.
  • Quickly fill in for absent technicians or arrange for substitute coverage.
  • Utilize exceptional customer service skills to maintain strong, productive relationships with clients and team members.
  • Coordinate and monitor work schedules to ensure seamless operations.
  • Complete inspection reports, update payroll information, and manage janitorial software daily. Basic computer proficiency is essential.
  • Demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities and foster a productive and harmonious work environment, effectively addressing challenges as they arise.
Qualifications:
  • Experience in janitorial management.
  • Possession of a reliable smartphone and computer/tablet.
  • Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor at all times.
  • Strong understanding of janitorial practices and procedures (training will be provided).
  • Ability to physically clean commercial office environments.
  • Availability for at least five evenings each week (no overnight shifts).
  • Capability to effectively lead a team of cleaning technicians.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in computer usage and able to learn janitorial management software.
  • Knowledge of proper handling and use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
  • Strong communication skills to engage with staff and address any concerns.
  • Must pass a drug test.
  • Possess a personal reliable vehicle (car insurance required).
  • Hold a valid driver's license.
  • Ability to pass a background check.
