About the Role:

Covenant Health is seeking a highly skilled Mammography Technologist - Certified to join our team at the Oak Ridge Breast Center. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for performing complex tasks associated with mammography and breast biopsy procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine screening and diagnostic mammography procedures using technical expertise in equipment use, positioning, and procedure protocols.
  • Follow Joint Commission procedures regarding medication preparation and usage for minimally invasive breast procedures.
  • Obtain and document pertinent clinical information and technical findings for review by physicians.
  • Perform quality control checks on equipment and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Provide excellent patient care and education, ensuring a positive experience for all patients.

Requirements:

  • Registered ARRT (R) certification and within 6 months ARRT (M) certification.
  • State licensure in accordance with Tennessee guidelines.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
