We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Practice Provider to join our Neonatal ICU team at UVA Health. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality patient care, work collaboratively with our medical staff, and contribute to the development of our clinical programs.
Responsibilities:- Assess, diagnose, and manage critically ill infants in a level 4, tertiary center
- Collaborate with our medical team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Participate in high-risk deliveries, critical care procedures, and overnight in-house coverage
- Provide education and support to patients, families, and medical students
- Contribute to the development of our clinical programs and quality improvement initiatives
- Graduate of an accredited graduate school of nursing or physician assistant program with a master's degree
- One to two years of NICU experience as an Advanced Practice Provider; Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant preferred
- License or license eligible as an Advance Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner, Physician Associate, Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist, and Certified Nurse Midwife) as set forth by the state of Virginia
