Business Development Manager, Corporate Solutions

Aims Community College is seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our Corporate Solutions team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining positive relationships with business and industry representatives, providing leadership to industry sector partnerships, and identifying grants and other funding opportunities to support customized training projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain strong partnerships with economic development entities, chamber organizations, and other workforce development agencies to ensure alignment and execution of collaborative workforce strategies.
- Identify and pursue grant opportunities to support customized training projects and programs.
- Develop and manage database of employers and industry representatives, trainers, and contracts, and maintain regular communication through appropriate channels.
- Represent Aims' interests and expertise in workforce development at community events, conferences, committees, boards, and networking functions.
- Collaborate with the Executive Director of Corporate Solutions to develop and implement standard operating procedures, customer relationship management systems, and curriculum databases.
- Assist in the development and implementation of outreach, sales plans, strategy, goals, and assessment of all CS programs.
- Provide regular reports and updates on business development activities, pipeline status, and project outcomes.
- Bachelor's degree in any field, plus three years of relevant experience in direct or indirect sales and negotiation in the area(s) of adult education, corporate solutions/customized training, customer success services, or an equivalent/applicable field.
- Superior organizational and analytical skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to represent the College in public.
- Microsoft Office/Google/computer skills.
- Knowledge of ethics and confidentiality issues.
- Sales/Negotiation experience.
- Customer Service experience.
- Four years of relevant experience in direct or indirect sales and negotiation in the area(s) of adult education, corporate solutions/customized training, customer success services, or an equivalent/applicable field.
- Customer Relationship Management system/database experience.
- Sales and Negotiation Training or Certification.
- Customer Service Skills.
