Position Overview:
As a key member of the Materials & Fasteners Engineering division at Tesla, you will play a crucial role in the establishment and execution of design and validation initiatives for the Fasteners Engineering team. Your responsibilities will encompass sourcing, implementation, and resolution processes for fasteners across all engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities:
1. **Program Definition and Management:** Oversee fastener development and joint design initiatives, ensuring all tasks are aligned across functions and maintaining visibility, while collaborating closely with design engineering to achieve timely completion.
2. **Validation Program Oversight:** Manage design validation initiatives, ensuring milestones are consistently met and outputs are thoroughly documented and reported.
3. **Technology Roadmap Development:** Lead the planning and execution of technology roadmap projects that will outline the design and execution strategies for upcoming engineering programs.
4. **Concern Resolution Management:** Structure timelines and drive completion of activities related to concern resolution during the launch of new programs, including root-cause analysis, countermeasure development, and validation.
5. **Resource Allocation Analysis:** Evaluate design and validation requirements for future programs to facilitate efficient resource allocation.

Qualifications:
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Engineering Management, or equivalent experience.
- A proactive approach, exceptional organizational and presentation skills, along with strong resource management capabilities are essential.
- Experience or interest in the automotive or manufacturing sectors is preferred.
- Familiarity with program management, supplier engagement, and cross-functional engineering collaboration is advantageous.
- Knowledge of materials and fasteners testing methodologies is preferred.
