About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Credit Account Manager to join our team in Houston, Texas. As a key member of our credit team, you will be responsible for managing an assigned area's accounts receivable, ensuring timely collections and minimizing bad debt losses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage an assigned area's accounts receivable, ensuring timely collections and minimizing bad debt losses.
  • Conduct credit reviews of existing customers and assess the creditworthiness of potential customers.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with dealers, sales teams, and customers to resolve credit collection issues.
  • Provide ad-hoc reports to management regarding account status and credit trends.
  • Attend sales and customer meetings to discuss credit matters and provide expert advice.

Requirements
  • High school diploma required; 4-year degree preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in credit and A/R.
  • Bonds and Liens experience highly preferred.
  • Solid process improvement competency.
  • Negotiate documentation and payment terms with customers.
  • Understanding of credit reporting agencies and Texas lien laws.
  • Ability to analyze complex data and reports.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Solid business acumen and understanding of financial statements.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
Compensation

This position offers a competitive total pay package, including a $60k-$70k salary and a $1,200 yearly bonus.
