POSITION: PROJECT ENGINEER

ROLE OVERVIEW:

Fortune-Johnson LLC is in search of a Project Engineer focused on the Project Management track. The ideal candidate will be a proactive individual who thrives in dynamic environments, possesses a visionary mindset, and upholds high standards of quality. This role is primarily centered around learning and development, encompassing project administration, field operations, and the physical aspects of construction to cultivate essential leadership capabilities. Advancement in this position will depend on the mastery of assigned responsibilities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Effective communication with subcontractors regarding project scope and requirements.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the materials utilized in our projects.
  • Interpret and analyze contract documents accurately.
  • Review and understand project drawings across various sets, submittals, and shop drawings.
  • Conduct site visits to identify and address details in the field.
  • Facilitate follow-up correspondence to support project tasks.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Prepare additional reports as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 0-2 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize effectively.
  • A collaborative team player who is adaptable to various roles.
  • Capability to maintain focus in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Proficient in organizing, planning, and managing multiple tasks to achieve desired outcomes.
