Job Overview

As a Construction Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and driving the successful completion of construction projects. This role requires an individual who thrives in a high-energy environment and excels at working closely with clients, stakeholders, and team members to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Leadership: Lead and manage construction projects from start to finish, ensuring all project goals are met in a fast-paced and client-focused environment.
  • Client Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring their needs and expectations are met.
  • Team Coordination: Collaborate with architects, engineers, trade partners, and internal teams to ensure seamless communication and cooperation.
  • Schedule Management: Develop and manage project's schedule in concert with the project superintendent and our trade partners.
  • Quality Control: Ensure all work meets industry standards, building codes, and client specifications.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Problem Solving: Provide effective solutions to project-related problems and conflicts.
  • Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment for all team members and subcontractors.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field is preferred but not required.
  • Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of experience in construction management, with a proven track record of managing projects in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams, excellent communication and client relationship management abilities, proficiency in construction management software and tools, and strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
