Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Admissions Systems Assistant to join our team at Suffolk University. The successful candidate will provide exceptional customer service to prospective students and families, while also ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our admissions data.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process and manage admissions applications, including data entry, coding, and processing in Slate and Workday.
  • Provide support to applicants, parents, and school counselors regarding missing application data and documents.
  • Manage duplicate records and ensure data integrity between systems.
  • Process incoming payments and refund requests, working closely with Student Accounts and the Director of Admission.
  • Assist with application withdrawal requests and ensure processing accuracy.
  • Provide excellent customer service to prospective students and families via phone, email, and in-person.
  • Participate in major admission campus events and assist with prospective student registration.
Requirements
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree with relevant office experience.
  • Strong computer skills, including MS Office and experience with Slate, Workday, and Touchnet.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and ability to learn new technology quickly.
  • Commitment to providing the highest level of customer service and responsiveness.
  • Demonstrated experience working in a high-volume, detailed-oriented, customer-focused environment.
