Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Medical Specimen Collector to join our team at Quest Diagnostics Incorporated. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for collecting and processing medical specimens for testing and analysis. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong communication and technical skills.

Responsibilities:

* Collect specimens from patients in a variety of settings, including hospitals, clinics, and physician offices.
* Administer oral solutions and medications as required.
* Research and verify test orders, and accurately enter data into our laboratory information system.
* Process specimens, including labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, and preparing for transport.
* Perform non-patient facing duties, such as inventory management, supply ordering, and filing.

Requirements:

* High school diploma or equivalent required.
* Medical training or certification preferred.
* One year of phlebotomy experience preferred.
* Strong communication and technical skills required.
