Customer Service Representative

Food Lion is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our team. As a key member of our Front End team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide fast, easy, and friendly service to customers, achieving Food Lion customer service standards.
- Assist customers with their shopping needs, answering questions and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Unload customers' groceries from cart to belt, checking for items and ensuring accurate bagging.
- Operate a cash register, handling payments, and processing transactions efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the Front End area, and report any issues to the Customer Service Manager or MOD.
- Participate in training and development programs to improve skills and knowledge, and contribute to a positive and supportive team environment.
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
- Effective communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks and priorities.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
