About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mine Engineer to lead the development of mine plans, designs, and strategies for our open-pit and underground mining operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing accurate mineral models and mineable pit designs
  • Designing and optimizing mine plans, including pit and underground designs
  • Conducting equipment studies and analyzing production constraints
  • Generating long-range plans and short-term mine schedules
  • Reviewing and recommending mine plans and designs
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited program (environmental, civil, or mining)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a mining environment
  • Strong knowledge of engineering techniques, mine planning, and project management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
