Job Overview:
We are actively seeking a Logistics Operations Specialist for our Supply Chain Solutions division. This role is essential in ensuring efficient operational functions and making independent decisions regarding material availability and inventory management.
Compensation:
Annual Salary: $50,000, commensurate with experience.
Payment is made bi-monthly.
Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday, from 4:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., with potential Saturday shifts as required.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Ensure timely follow-up on all purchased components to support production needs.
2. Act as the primary liaison for suppliers, providing guidance on shipping schedules and containment plans when delays occur.
3. Monitor critical components and implement containment strategies to prevent production interruptions.
4. Coordinate alternative material sources and manage spot buy requests as necessary.
5. Independently oversee the scheduling and cancellation of truckloads for material pickup to align with production requirements.
6. Review inventory buffers to ensure they meet production demands.
7. Document and manage exceptions related to inventory codes, addressing root causes effectively.
8. Maintain accurate inventory levels and make necessary adjustments based on thorough analysis.
Additional Duties:
Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum of one year of administrative experience preferred.
- Five or more years of relevant experience strongly recommended.

- Capability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team.
- Flexibility and self-motivation to thrive in a dynamic environment.
