Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our physicians and nurse practitioners in providing high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to our healthcare team, ensuring seamless communication and efficient workflow.
- Assist with patient triage, taking vital signs, and gathering medical history to document in our electronic medical record system.
- Support our physicians and APRNs with procedures, chart updates, and other clinical tasks.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control protocols.
- Collaborate with office staff to manage phone calls, records, and daily orders.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 2+ years of experience as a Medical Assistant preferred.
- Certified Medical Assistant (AAMA) certification preferred.
