Key Responsibilities
As a Housekeeping Inspector, you will be responsible for upholding the highest standards of cleanliness in guest rooms and service areas. Your role will involve providing essential support to the resort's housekeeping team.
- Conduct inspections of areas cleaned by assigned staff using a specified checklist.
- Adhere to all company policies and operational procedures.
- Maintain clear communication across all departments.
- Assist the Executive Housekeeper in managing department expenses.
- Delegate tasks effectively among housekeeping personnel.
- Monitor staff performance and provide corrective feedback as necessary.
- Identify training needs and facilitate staff development.
- Foster a motivating and cohesive team environment.
- Oversee inventory and security of housekeeping supplies.
- Ensure the security of assigned areas and lock all access points.
- Work independently with minimal supervision.
- Coordinate breaks for the housekeeping team.
- Communicate any changes to assignments as they occur.
- Address situations that may compromise departmental standards.
- Update area status after verifying cleanliness and condition according to standards.
- Complete maintenance work orders and follow up on repairs.
- Evaluate employee performance and provide retraining as needed.
- Be knowledgeable of emergency and safety protocols.
- Conduct training for new hires.
- Handle customer complaints by following established procedures to ensure satisfaction.
- Provide performance feedback to management.
- Report any disciplinary issues to management.
- Maintain a flexible work schedule.
- Adhere to all safety protocols.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
- Maintain mobility and work in varying temperatures.
- Utilize company communication devices effectively.
- Complete all necessary paperwork and logs.
- Keep management informed of work assignment statuses.
Qualifications
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of one year of supervisory experience in housekeeping or a related field.

Compensation
Salary: $21.50 per hour
