Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Management: Oversee and mentor operations staff across the region, fostering professional development and ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Operational Oversight: Supervise daily operations to maximize efficiency and effectiveness, promoting best practices and process enhancements to improve productivity.
  • Compliance and Safety: Uphold compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards, performing routine audits and inspections to ensure operational integrity.
  • Project Management: Lead regional projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with timelines and budgetary constraints, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to fulfill operational objectives.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics, utilizing data analysis to inform decision-making and enhance performance.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, operations management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in operations management, particularly in a supervisory capacity.
  • Strong understanding of operational processes, best practices, and safety regulations.
  • Experience in pesticide application is required; relevant licensure preferred.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • Be safety conscious and always follow company safety policies and procedures.
  • Must have experience supervising a team.
  • Act independently within the framework of the company structure.
  • Industry and leadership experience is required.
  • Must be able to read and understand written and verbal instructions and work orders.
  • Have the ability and mentality to work outdoors, in a physically demanding work environment, and in all weather conditions, lifting or moving up to 40 lbs. on a consistent basis throughout shifts.

  • Demonstrate leadership abilities to successfully supervise and motivate your crews while accepting responsibility for the safe operations and maintenance of vehicles, equipment, and tools.
  • Possess a current and valid driver's license and have a clean driving record.

  • Pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.

Work Environment
  • The Regional Operations Supervisor will primarily work in an office setting with frequent travel to various operational sites.
  • Flexibility to work outside standard hours may be required to meet operational demands.
  • Exposure to dust, odors, gases, vapors, wet or slick surfaces, and loud noises is possible.
  • You must always wear personal protective equipment (PPE) in compliance with Company standards and governmental regulations.
  • The extension of regular working hours is occasionally necessary to complete time-sensitive projects, attend training or respond to emergencies.
  • Work may be required on weekends and holidays as dictated by business demands.
Physical Demands
  • This role requires outdoor work in varying weather conditions, with physical tasks including lifting and carrying up to 40 lbs.
  • Must be prepared for long periods of standing and occasional digging.
  • This is a physically arduous position that requires working outside in varying weather types and exposure to the elements.
  • This position requires hiking and standing for long periods of time.
Travel Requirements
  • This full-time position does require extensive travel at times, with extended periods on the road.
  • Transportation and lodging are provided while traveling.
