We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Behavioral Health Nurse to join our team at Lifespan. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to children and adolescents with psychiatric, developmental, and behavioral needs.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including developing individualized treatment plans and counseling to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care and effective communication.
- Administer medications as prescribed and accurately document administration.
- Conduct environmental assessments to ensure a safe and non-triggering environment for patients.
- Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and provide support throughout the care process.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Rhode Island.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN), preferred.
- 1 year of experience in psychiatric or pediatric nursing, preferred.
