About the Role

Green Street Advisors is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Associate to join our team. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for selling research products and services to a variety of prospect types, developing and executing a detailed sales plan, and achieving or exceeding sales quota.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Execute a Sales Plan: Create and implement a sales strategy to achieve or exceed sales quota.
  • Sell Research Products and Services: Generate new revenue by selling Green Street's industry-leading products, including research, data & analytics, news, and advisory services.
  • Prioritize New Opportunities: Identify and engage with new prospects on a daily basis to drive sales growth.
  • Articulate the Value of Green Street's Products: Effectively communicate the benefits of Green Street's products to prospects, highlighting how they meet their needs, improve business processes, and address gaps in alternative solutions.
  • Manage the Sales Pipeline: Track activities within Green Street's CRM application and manage a sales pipeline to ensure timely follow-up and conversion of leads.
  • Work with an Entrepreneurial Mindset: Demonstrate drive, initiative, energy, and a sense of urgency in acquiring and serving clients.
  • Turn Client Feedback into Actionable Strategies: Use client feedback to drive new business, product development, and address competitive risks, communicating effectively with the sales team and product management.
Requirements
  • 1+ Years of Sales Experience: Successful sales experience in leading software, financial services, information services, commercial real estate, or other technology-based companies, with a preference for business-to-business environments.
  • 2+ Years of SDR Experience: Experience in an SDR role is desirable.
  • Consistent Track Record of Achieving Sales Quotas: A consistent track record of achieving and exceeding sales quotas or KPIs.
  • Strong Understanding of Financial Concepts: A strong understanding of financial concepts and principles as they relate to clients' needs.
  • Commercial Real Estate Experience: Commercial Real Estate experience is helpful but not required.
  • Authorization to Work in the United States: Authorization to work in the United States for any employer, without sponsorship requirements.
