Sign-On Incentive up to $10,000 with a two-year employment commitment
Position Overview:
Accountable for comprehensive physiological monitoring and documentation, ensuring patient care and safety, and assisting physicians during echocardiogram procedures.
Qualifications:
All Cardiovascular Technologists employed in the Catheterization Laboratory at McLaren Health Care prior to the specified date will be deemed to have fulfilled all essential qualifications for this role.
Minimum of three years of allied health experience in an acute care environment, with experience in Cardiac Catheterization Lab, Electrophysiology, Radiology Special Procedures, or Neuro Interventional Procedures required.
OR
Certification as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Registered Radiological Technologist (RTR) or Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES).
OR
Graduation from an accredited program, with Registration as a Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) by Cardiovascular Credentialing International required within six months of employment.
OR
Graduation from a non-accredited program in either electrophysiology or invasive cardiovascular technology, with RCIS or RCES registration obtained within 18 months of graduation. One year of work experience is necessary to qualify for the registry examination.
Graduation from a certificate or degree-granting program or post-secondary educational program in Respiratory Therapy, LPN, or Echo Technology.
ACLS certification required within six months of employment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience in an invasive cardiovascular setting.
